CAPS28 is cloud-based dental practice management software that runs your whole clinic in one place — patient records, appointments, clinical charting and treatment planning, lab work, and accounts — from any browser, with nothing to install on the front desk.
Signing in
Open your clinic’s CAPS28 web address and sign in with the email and password your practice administrator set up for you. After signing in you choose the clinic you want to work in (if your login is attached to more than one), and CAPS28 opens on the Dashboard.
How CAPS28 is organised
The top navigation follows the way a dental practice actually works. Each area is a module:
- Dashboard — the day at a glance: appointments, waiting room, recalls and live counts.
- Patients — the patient record and every clinical tab.
- Appointments — the chair-by-chair scheduler.
- Treatments — the tooth chart, treatment plans and procedure tracking.
- Labwork — lab orders and their status.
- Accounts — bills, payments and clinic ledgers.
- Office — the setup and administration for your practice.
Your first few tasks
A natural first run through CAPS28:
- Register a new patient.
- Book an appointment for them.
- Create a treatment plan on the tooth chart.
- Create a bill and record the payment.
